AACS can provide services on any motor vehicle; automobiles, pickups, motorcycles, special interest autos/trucks, personal watercraft, boats, heavy equipment, farm machinery and recreational vehicles (RVs).

ESTIMATES - Write estimates using APD and Pathways estimating systems, scope damages, photograph, search for reconditioned OEM parts, obtain agreed estimate with repair facility, determine prior damage or unrelated damages. Review claim for subrogation potential as well as fraudulent claims.

TOTAL LOSS VALUATIONS - We determine values on automobiles, heavy equipment, boats and personal watercraft, recreational (RVs), farm machinery, motorcycles and special interest vehicles. This process involves determining the vehicle's actual cash value (ACV) - this is the market value of the vehicle taking into consideration pre-loss condition, options and mileage.

STATED VALUE - Stated value vehicles are usually considered special interest or older vehicles. We determine the ACV of the vehicle and consider any add-ons that would increase the value.

APPRAISAL FOR TAX PURPOSES - Effective October 1, 2006, Tax Code Section 152.0412 allows a purchaser of a used vehicle in a private-party sale to get an appraisal to establish the amount of motor vehicle sales tax due. A private-party sale is one that does not involve a licensed motor vehicle dealer. This appraisal does not involve dealer sales. When the sales tax appraisal is done we will inspect the motor vehicle in person and identify mechanical, condition and appearance factors that will affect the retail value. A Used Motor Vehicle Certified Appraisal Form(14-128) will be given to you to be filed with county tax assessor-collector at the same time of titling and registering the motor vehicle.
